Fallout 3 Darnified Ui Download
This mod gives the Oblivion UI the most extensive facelift yet. It's goal is to rid the pc version of the horrid xbox interface. Fonts are smaller, settings can be adjusted in game, user controls are scaled, more info on screen, and the hud is vastly improved.OBMM InstallThis requires OBMM v1.1.12+ and 'Allow additional script types' to be set in O.
I'm interested in this for both fallout new vegas and fallout 3.I love darn's way of presenting things but i'm not a big fan of his font's futuristic style. Maybe i'd be interested in something closer to vanilla fonts.I've read online in old pages that you can find more fonts for darn.So far for new vegas i've only found thisAlternative fonts for DarNified UI modwhich is very nice, good enough ( though i could try something new too )But i've yet to find anything for fallout 3. Am i missing something?
. DarNified UI F3 by DarNThread history: you're unfamiliar with the goal is to make the UI look more at home on the PC.
This means smaller fonts, more visible items in the lists, and scaling of some elements. Though improved, the F3 ui is a little too big for my taste, hence DUI F3. As with the other version, I will try to implement settings where appropriate. Settings can be found in DatamenusprefabsDUIF3Settings.xml.≈ Dialog MenuThe NPC name has been moved, the font changed, and the number of items is dynamic.Screens:- Barter MenuNumber of visible items in the lists is dynamic (typically 21 with font size 14), and the font changed.Screens:- Container MenuSame modifications as the Barter Menu.Screens:Pipboy MenusThis includes the Stats, Inventory, Repair, and Map Menus.Screens:-System MenusThis includes all the menus reachable from the Start Menu.
Currently only has the Start Menu itself. You can remove the LIVE button in the config (I'm sick of clicking it when I don't mean to).

You have full control over scale, color, visibility, and positions. Open the config file to see what more can be done to it.Screens:- Chargen PackThis pack contains the Racesix, Chargen and the TextEdit Menus. The Racesix Menu list has been reworked with new sliders and numbers for these. A substitution for font 5 was made to make the list more readable. The numbers mimic the values you'll see in the CS (. 100).

The Chargen Menu is modeled after the LevelUp Menu.Screens:-V.A.T.SThe V.A.T.S has been redesigned to use the meters from the HUD. You can set the visibility of these independently of their HUD visibility settings.
An option to hide the hit% chance info was also added to make things a tad more exiting should you wish it.Screens:SettingsIn-game settings require FOSE to work. A10 needs FOSE 1.1 b5. These can be accessed from the Pause Menu by clicking the 'DUI F3' button.Screens:Install FOMOD:This is the recommended install method. The script will edit the ini with the proper values for you, and copy the files to their proper location. Back up your menus folder if you have one.
Extract zip to Fallout 3fommmods. Activate the mod in FOMM Package Manager? There hasn't been an update in a long long time.
Not that I'm experiencing any issues at all, but is there still something planned or is a11.1 final?a11 is certainly not final. A12 has a lot of new stuff - probably a bit more than I should have put in there all at once. It's been on hold for a while now though. If life gets busy my modding suffers, always has. UI modding takes too much time and focus for me to do both at times, which is why I go away and come back like I have over the years. I feel more and more like continuing work on DUI now though.Posts: 3436 Joined: Mon Dec 25, 2006 11:58 am.
I see how I worded that. I have the Live disabler, but when I try to run it it says that another UI is running and doesn't disable it.There are separate functions for disabling the Live DLL itself, and for disabling the Live button in the menu. I can see it refusing to install the XML file that removes the Live button since DarNUI already takes care of that, but I'd think it would still disable the Live dll for you.If not FOMM has a fake XLive.dll option as well.Posts: 3539 Joined: Tue Jan 16, 2007 6:51 am. 2
