I am talking only about the campaign map, not the 'Scenarios' where you just make an army and fight eachother. Yeah, just MP battle FFA sorry. No, only 2 player co ophere's a question, why does the minor multiplayer aspect affect your decision to by a predominantly single player game. It's like buying CS:GO for the hydra ops campaign. Originally posted by:Free for all campaign? It's like buying CS:GO for the hydra ops campaign. That's an extremely terrible comparation. It is a predominantly singleplayer game, yeah, but don't tell me you never wanted it to really support more than 2 player seets in the multiplayer section. The picture of you and other 3+ people fighting eachother, or alongside eachother in this game? I mean, why wouldn't I want that? That's a dumb question. Warhammer

Long wait times between turns? It's a fun conept, but I know that in reality it just wouldn't work out. Do you understand how easy it would be for CA to simply make it available, but haven't? There must be a valid reason why, because it would literally require CA minimal effort while satisfying thousands of players.

It's like buying CS:GO for the hydra ops campaign.actually, in all the historical total wars, the majority of the hours I've put in were coop with irl friends since this is the one series of games we all enjoy. There are 3 of us, and only 2 people for coop so someone is always left out. Considering how fast warhammer turns go by, I wouldn't mind if they let us coop or versus or free for all a 4 player campaign, even with all the disconnects, bugs, and waiting for others we all know happens in coop.

In all honesty, they could've done better even by letting players to all make their decisions in one round, ready up, and when they all readied up, the round would pass.Same thing as in Civ for example. If CA tried, they would make it. But why would they put extra time, money or effort into that? If it sells as always. Same goes for FLC though, yet look at the effort CA put into Brettonia. If it sells as always. It's actually extremely simple to find out why they don't put more effort into the multiplayer campaign and multiplayer in general. All you have to do is look at the achievement stats for the first game. Only 23% of it's playerbase ever started a co-op campaign and out of that only 2.9% ever actually won one. So yeah, people who buy these games don't really care about multiplayer, why should CA in something only a 'small' part of their playerbase ever uses? Even if only a third player can join, that would make a huge difference as far as I'm concerned.

The way Co-op works right now, you have to play the same type of faction. I think the lizardmen and Norsca are the only ones that only have two of their faction type, so playing three together really isn't hindered that much. I think it'd be worth it.

And if CA is worried about cost effectivness, then maybe add it as a DLC for a few dollars or something. Those that want to have a third player would be willing to pay it if it's not too expensive, including myself.
